16.40 – Betway Handicap – 6f

A highly-competitive opener with BOLD DECISION marginally getting the verdict. He was a good second when last sighted from his current mark and a repeat performance should put him right in the mix under the promising Clifford Lee. KATELLI was a creditable second over C&D nine days ago and looks very competitive on the form available.

Selections: BOLD DECISION, KATELLI

17.15 – Betway Classified Selling Stakes – 6f

A case can be made for all three of these so it’s wise to have all three on our ticket.

ONEBABA arrives in rude health having claimed back-to-back events in low-graded handicaps. He’s already won three times this year and is likely to give another good account of himself despite having a bit to find with the favourite.

Last year’s winner STEELRIVER is 2Ib this time around and given the fact he’s a proven four-time C&D winner and the clear top-rated at 73 dropping into a seller, he should prove hard to beat, while the winless QUARRY BEACH can’t be ignored either.

Selections: ONEBABA, STEELRIVER, QUARRY BEACH

17.45 – Play 4 To Win At Betway Handicap – 7f

Another jam-packed handicap in prospect here with ONE HART shading the vote. He’s 5Ib higher than when scoring over C&D on his penultimate outing, but with Oliver Stammers 5Ib claim taken into consideration, this four-year-old is sure to be thereabouts.

SEAS OF ELZAAM is very consistent and his latest RPR’s back that up. He’s not been beaten far in his three latest races from this mark in particular and is respected from a handy slot in stall six.

Selections: ONE HART, SEAS OF ELZAAM

18.15 – Bombardier Classified Stakes (Div 1) – 7f

A poor event, in truth, which could help former C&D winner BILLYOAKES regain the winning thread despite being burdened with top-weight. He is five pound below his last victory and has gone close multiple times from higher marks in the past at this track, therefore, the nine-year-old holds solid each-way claims.

TOOFI has a poor win strike-rate and has clearly been a frustrating horse to follow, but there’s no doubting his ability to make an impact from this basement mark given he was rated as high as 102 in his younger days. He is worth one more chance to capitalise on his much-reduced mark at this weak level.

Selections: BILLYOAKES, TOOFI

18.45 – Bombardier Classified Stakes (Div 2) – 7f

THE PRETTY WAY produced a career-best display to get off the mark over six-furlongs here 9 days ago and this progressive filly has every chance of following-up here up against mostly exposed types.

GONZAGA might emerge as the main threat on the back of four consecutive placed efforts and should go quite well with room for manoeuvre from his current mark.

Selections: THE PRETTY WAY, GONZAGA

19.15 – Betway Novice Median Auction Stakes – 1m1f

FLYIN’ SOLO has to concede plenty of weight but won with loads to spare over C&D last month. The form of that race looks quite strong in the context of this evening’s event and he looks set to make a bold bid under his useful 7Ib claimer up against a warm favourite.

Selections: FLYIN’ SOLO
