Beverly Ann McNeilly, 82, of Grove Street, Keeseville, went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 8, 2021 from the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Keeseville, August 4, 1938, the daughter of Philip and Blanche (McGee) Galarneau.
Beverly worked as a bartender at her grandmother’s bar, Della’s Inn in Peru. As fate would have it, she met her husband there as he happened to visit the area with an out of town construction crew.
She enjoyed bingo and attending functions with the Keeseville Senior Citizens group where she served as secretary. She was also a loving caregiver for several family members throughout the years including her husband.
Left to cherish the memory of Beverly are, her husband of nearly 60 years, James E. McNeilly, Sr.; children, Kevin of Florida, James (Sherry) of Syracuse, Tammy of Syracuse, Brian (Janette) of Keeseville, and Bonnie (Eric) of Keeseville; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Cynthia of Weedsport; three brothers, Mitch and Mathew of Florida, and Keith John of Keeseville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Scott; sister, Jackie Hathaway; and two brothers, Alfred and Philip, Jr.
Due to COVID-19, there will no public services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Keeseville Senior Citizens group.
