Bally’s “Main Event Mania” Live Will Run From December 10 To Jan 3

Bally Las Vegas: Main Event ManiaPoker players have one more option to take part in live Main Event action in Las Vegas this December. Apart from the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event at The Rio, an upcoming “Main Event Mania” is also set to take place at Bally’s, which will run for over three weeks, from December 10 to January 3, 2021.

Main Event Mania will get underway on December 10 with nine Mega Satellites into the $10,000 buy-in WSOP Main Event. Players have three buy-in choices to enter — $580, $1,100 and $2,175. These satellites will run for three days, and will offer tickets to the US leg of the WSOP Main Event which kicks off online on WSOP.com on December 13.

The schedule also includes 32 official events, starting off with a $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament on December 13. Majority of the events will run for two days, with a range of other variants being thrown into the mix, such as pot-limit Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Triple Stud, nine-game mix, HORSE, Big O and Dealer’s Choice.

Main Highlights

The main highlight of the series will be the $1,500 buy-in Main Event, which features two starting flights taking place on January 1 & 2. Only one re-entry is allowed per flight, and the late registration period is only up to 12 levels. Players will kick off the action with 50,000 in chips, which will be played in 40-minute levels all throughout.

Day 2 of the tournament is scheduled on January 3 until the eight-handed final table is reached. Action then resumes the following day, January 4 to play down to a winner.

Another huge event on the schedule is the $2,200 buy-in High Roller No-Limit Hold’em which kicks off on December 30. Players are given the opportunity to take part in the tournament for a fraction of the price via Mega Satellites which cost just $265 to enter.

Player of the Series

Main Event Mania also features a Player of the Series leaderboard which adopts a point system that’s similar to the WSOP Circuit stop. The player accumulating the highest number of points at the end of the series will walk away with a $10,000 ticket to the 2021 WSOP Main Event.

Safety Protocols

Bally’s Las Vegas is implementing mandatory wearing of face masks, and is performing regular cleaning and sanitization at the venue. The upcoming event will be played eight-handed, with all tables equipped with a Plexiglas barrier to ensure strict physical distancing.

Like all Caesars properties, Bally’s also prioritizes the health and well-being of its employees, customers, and the community in general.
